More snow fell in Spokane. Portland and Seattle had snow, topped with ice. Hair-raising commutes became the norm -- when we could commute. Let's just say we all enjoyed a little down time around the house.
Then the sun came out -- ever so briefly.
We finished December with a record-breaking 69 inche
s of snow. (That's like me with 7 inches of snow on my head.)
